Rain before 9:00, then sunny, hot and humid by 9:00. There were a lot of lake residents taking their boats out of the water for the winter. One fisherman who didn't want to answer questions still used the pressure washer to clean off the boat. This is the last day for Eagle Lake's CBCW program for 2015. It is disappointing to see that still, this late in the season, there are so many boaters who indicated they had not been contacted by a CBCW person this year. Of course, our program is only staffed on weekends/holidays, but one would think they would have run into staff by this time.00000000000000000000

They were out on the lake before 9:00 a.m., so we didn't talk to him before he entered Eagle Lake. He said he does not want things to get into Eagle Lake and that is why he is careful about washing his boat. He was given information on the SSW. Another man said that our power washer and boat cleaning station was in a bad spot because if a boat was using the station, he could not drive around them. He pulled over to a parking spot to remove weeds and secure his boat. He didn't want to use the power washer or the cleaning station, even though there was nobody using it.00000000000000000000

On some days, there are a lot of people fishing in the 'lagoon' area or on the shoreline. We have a power washer on site this year and most people wanted to use it. Also, people were asking about Little Muskego Lake, and they were given an informational brochure we developed re: Starry Stonewort. All boaters are asked if they have been in Little (and now Big) Muskego lake and are told about SSW.
