AN ORDINANCE TO REGULATE WATER TRAFFIC, BOATING AND WATER SPORTS UPON THE WATERS OF THE TOWN OF DAKOTA, WAUSHARA COUNTY, WISCONSIN

On all waters less than fifty (50) acres, the use of motor propelled boats is prohibited. Upon waters of more than fifty (50) acres, namely the WHITE RIVER MILL POND in Sections 13, 14, and 24, and WITTER'S LAKE, no motor propelled boat should be operated at a speed in excess of a slow-no-wake. No person shall operate a motor propelled boat within a swimming zone, EXCEPT for the purpose of loading or unloading passengers, docking or departing from a pier, or dock. No boat shall be loaded with passengers or cargo beyond its safe capacity, taking into consideration weather conditions and other conditions peculiar to the waters of the Town upon which the boat is being operated. No person shall swim more than 150 feet from shore on any water unless accompanied by another person in a boat. It is unlawful to throw or deposit any metal cans, glass bottles or any other debris, trash or refuse in or on the shores of any lake, stream or waterway. (applies when iced over as well)

AN ORDINANCE TO REGULATE WATER TRAFFIC, BOATING AND WATER SPORTS UPON THE WATERS OF TUTTLE LAKE. NO. 88 -3 [Marquette County]
|
Motorboats shall only be allowed to operate on the Lake at speeds in excess of slow-no-wake between the hours of 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. No motorboat shall be operated at a speed in excess of slow-no-wake at any time in the shore zone. Any motorboat towing a person on water skis, aquaplanes or similar device, must remain more than 200 feet from the shoreline except during pick up and drop off. Any motorboat towing persons on skis, aquaplanes, or other devises shall travel in a counter-clockwise direction around the lake. No motorboat shall be operated unless equipped with a muffler. No motorboat shall be operated within 100 feet of an unpowered boat. All rafts shall be securely moored and shall be located not further than 150 feet from the shoreline. No person between the ages of 10 and 16 shall operate a motorboat without having completed a DNR Boating Course unless accompanied by a responsible adult over the age of 18.

BOATING REGULATIONS OF THE COUNTY OF GREEN LAKE
|
An Ordinance Repealing Ordinance No. 71-71, and Creating the Boating Regulations of the County of Green Lake BOATING REGULATIONS Section 1 Provisions of State Law Adopted by Reference (1) State Boating Regulations Adopted. Except as otherwise specifically provided in this ordinance, all provisions of chapter 30 of the Wisconsin Statutes describing and defining regulations with respect to boats and waters of this state for which the penalty is a forfeiture only, including penalties to be imposed and procedure for prosecution, are hereby adopted and by reference made a part of this ordinance as if fully set forth herein. Any act required to be performed or prohibited by any statute incorporated herein by reference is required or prohibited by this ordinance. Sections of Chapter 30 Adopted by Reference Shall Include But Not Be Limited to the Following 30.50 (Definitions) 30.501 (Capacity Plates on Boats) 30. 51 (Operation of Unnumbered Boats Prohibited; Exemptions) 30. 52 (Certificates of number; applications; issuance; renewals; fees.) 30. 53 (Identification Number to be Displayed on Boat; Certificate to be Carried. ) 30.54 (Transfer of Ownership of Numbered Boat) 30. 55 (Notice of Abandonment or Destruction of Boat or Change of Address 30. 60 (Classification of Motorboats) 30.61 (Lighting Equipment) 30.62 (Other Equipment) 30. 63 (Sale and Use of Certain Outboard Motors Restricted) 30. 635 (Motorboat Prohibition) 30. 64 (Patrol Boats Exempt From Certain Traffic Regulations) 30.65 (Traffic Rules) 30. 66 (Speed Restrictions) 30.67 (Accidents and Accident Reports) 30. 675 (Distress Signal Flag) 30. 68 (Prohibited Operation) 30. 69 (Water Skiing) 30. 70 (Skin Diving) 30. 71 (Boats Equipped With Toilets) 30.74 (Additional Functions of Department 30.75 (Service of Process on Nonresident) 30.77 (Local Regulation of Boating) 30. 78 (Municipal Regulation of Seaplanes) 30.79 (Municipal Water Safety Patrols; State Aids) Section 2 All Ordinances relating to the regulation of boating upon the waters of Green Lake County, Wisconsin, and all Ordinances and parts of Ordinances heretofore enacted by the County Board of the County of Green Lake, Wisconsin, relating thereto, are hereby repealed. Section 3 Severability The provisions of this ordinance shall be deemed severable and it is expressly declared that the County Board would have passed the other provisions of this ordinance irrespective of whether or not one or more provisions of this ordinance may be declared invalid and if any provision of this ordinance or the application thereto to any person or circumstances is held invalid, the remainder of the ordinance and the application of such provisions to other persons or circumstances shall not be affected thereby. Section 4 Effective Date This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after the 25 day of September, 1975, upon passage and publication as provided by law. Passed and adopted this 18th day of November, 1975.

No person shall operate a personal watercraft (motorboat that uses an inboard motor powering a water jet pump or a caged propeller as its primary source of motive power and that is designed to be operated by a person standing on, kneeling or sitting astride the watercraft) on the waters of Lawrence Lake. No person shall engage in tow sports on the waters of Lawrence Lake. No person shall operate a motor boat in excess of slow-no-wake-zone speed within 200 feet of the shoreline of Lawrence Lake along the entire perimeter of the Lake.
