Water is impaired due to one or more pollutants and associated quality impacts.
Notes
Beaver Creek was evaluated in 1998 and aquatic toxicity was found but the pollutant was unknown. In 2014 the creek was evaluated for phosphorus and levels were too high for healthy aquatic communities like plants, bugs, and fish. High phosphorus levels were confirmed every two-year cycle from 2016 to 2024. In 2020 chloride was identified as the source of aquatic toxicity. In 2026 the phosphorus impairment was removed but elevated water temperatures were documented. This water remains on the Impaired Waters List. Pollutant
