Impaired Water Notes
Willow Creek is part of the Menomonee Watershed. Willow Creek is impaired for recreational restrictions because of high concentrations of Fecal Coliform bacteria. Fecal Coliform concentrations exceed the 400 cfu/100mL threshold 24% of time annually and 13% of time May through September based on modeling data calibrated and validated from over 30 years of monitoring data (assessment point MN-4). Data is from the MMSD Corridor database housed at USGS. Land use is primarily commercial (45%) and residential (30%) in this area.
