Twin Hill Creek was evaluated for bug community health every two years between 2016 and 2020; bug community was found to be in fair health. In 2020 this creek was evaluated for phosphorus and levels were too high for sustained healthy aquatic communities like plants, bugs, and fish. A phosphorus listing was added in 2020. This water is covered by the Northeast Lakeshore TMDL, approved in 2023. New water quality data reviewed in the 2024 cycle indicated no additional pollutants.
