This water was assessed during the 2020 listing cycle; new macroinvertebrate sample data exceeded 2020 WisCALM listing criteria for the Aquatic Life use (i.e. at least one macroinvertebrate Index of Biotic Integrity (IBI) average scored in the poor condition category).
The impairment of degraded habitat by total suspended solids was based on the recommendation in Big Green Lake Targeted Watershed Assessment Water Quality Management Plan from 2017.
