Lake Wingra was evaluated for phosphorus every two-year cycle from 2012 to 2024; phosphorus levels fluctuated over the years. This lake was on the Impaired Waters List for phosphorus from the 2012 to 2016 cycles. Levels appear elevated again in the 2022 cycle, but additional data will be collected before it is listed for phosphorus again.
