This segment of Pheasant Branch was identified as impaired in 1998 for high phosphorus, low DO, high suspended sediment, and degraded habitat. Subsequent cycles (2012, 2018, 2022, 2024) confirmed the high phosphorus levels. This stream segment is part of the Rock River Basin TP & TSS TMDL. During the 2016 cycle chloride was identified as causing aquatic toxicity for organisms in the stream. A TMDL is still needed for this listing.Pollutant
