Red Cedar Lake was evaluated for phosphorus and algae every two year cycle from 2012 to 2024. Excess algal growth was seen from 2012 to 2018. In 2020 algal levels were good and this listing was removed. The 2024 evaluation indicated good health; this lake is on the Waters Attaining Standards List.
