In 2020 this water was assessed for phosphorus and levels were found to be too high for healthy aquatic communities (plants, bugs, fish, etc). This water is part of the Wisconsin River TMDL, approved in 2019, placing it on the Waters In Restoration List. The 2024 evaluation showed no new impairments.Pollutant
