Water is impaired due to one or more pollutants and associated quality impacts.
Notes
Deer Lake was identified as impaired in 2018 for mercury in fish tissue and high phosphorus levels. Phosphorus evaluation during the 2022 cycle noted a change in lake classification from Two-Story to Shallow Lowland, which changes the TP criteria. New phosphorus, algal, and aquatic plant data indicated attainment of the Aquatic Life and Recreation Uses, prompting delisting of phosphorus in the 2024 cycle. This lake remains listed for mercury.Pollutant
