Impaired Water Notes
Fish surveys were completed at CTH N (10021699), lower STH 54 (10021700 and upper STH 54 (10021701). Fish IBI ratings were good at CTH N and fair at the lower STH 54 crossing. One brook trout was found at CTH N but overall few fish were found and brook stickleback were the dominant species. Qualitative habitat ratings were fair to good at CTH N and poor at STH 54. The stream at both sites was incised, relatively wide and shallow, contained no fish cover and substrate consisted of sand. The riparian area was wooded at CTH N and heavily pastured with bank erosion at STH 54. Macroinvertebrate samples were collected but results are not available by this date.
