Dunn County, Wisconsin
LC07

0.00 - 4.84
4.84
Water is impaired due to one or more pollutants and associated quality impacts.
Notes
This segment of Eighteenmile Creek was evaluated for phosphorus in 2012 and 2018. Phosphorus levels were found to be too high. Biology and temperature were assessed in 2016, 2018, and 2020, both were found to be in good condition. This water is covered by a restoration plan: A Water Quality Strategy for the Land and Waters of the Red Cedar River Basin (expires 2026).

This water was assessed during the 2016 listing cycle; total phosphorus sample data exceed 2016 WisCALM listing criteria for the Fish and Aquatic Life use, however, no biological data (i.e. no macroinvertebrate or fish Index of Biotic Integrity (IBI) scores) were available to assess biological impairment. This water was also assessed for temperature and sample data did not exceed 2016 WisCALM listing criteria for the Fish and Aquatic Life use.
This water was assessed during the 2018 listing cycle; new total phosphorus sample data overwhelmingly exceed 2018 WisCALM listing criteria for the Fish and Aquatic Life use, however, available biological data do not indicate impairment (i.e. no macroinvertebrate or fish Index of Biotic Integrity (IBI) scored in the "poor" condition category); temperature data did not indicate impairment.
