Mud (Bridget) Lake was evaluated in the 2022 cycle; phosphorus levels were too high and excess algal growth was identified. This lake was placed of the Impaired Waters List. This water is covered by the Lake St. Croix TMDL Implementation 9-Key Plan (expires 2025). This lake was evaluated for aquatic plant communities in the 2024 assessment cycle. The plant community was found to be impacted and this lake was listed for degraded macrophyte populations.
