Impaired Water - Druid Lake (Druid Lake)
Washington County, Wisconsin
UR10
855200
122.40
Water is impaired due to one or more pollutants and associated quality impacts.
Notes
Druid Lake was placed on the impaired waters list for excess algal growth in 2014. New data indicated good conditions and the water was delisted in 2018. This lake was assessed in each biennial cycle from 2014 to 2024 for the parameters total phosphorus and chlorophyll-a (measure of algae). This water is managed for boating, fishing, swimming, and aquatic life; it is currently considered in good condition. New data during 2026 cycle indicated high Chl-a and suggests impairment for recreational use; data for total phosphorous related to recreation and aquatic life and Chl-a collected during 2026 cycle indicated clearly meeting attainment standards.
