Notes
This segment of the Kinnickinnic River was identified as impaired for recreation in 2010 caused by bacteria (fecal coliform). During the 2012 cycle this segment was also listed for high phosphorus levels causing degraded biological communities. These listings are covered by the Milwaukee River TMDL, approved in 2018. In the 2018 cycle the additional pollutant of chloride causing toxicity for organisms in the stream was identified. During the 2020, 2022, and 2024 cycles the phosphorus and chloride listings were confirmed.Pollutant
