The headwaters have active farming activity, however a significant portion of the watershed is being developed as residential subdivisions. Storm water runoff and associated nonpoint source pollutants are the primary source of impairments to the stream, which include total phosphorus levels and total suspended solids. Recommendation: Due to low or dry water levels during 2007 monitoring season, keep Grandma Creek on the 303(d) list until biological surveys can support impaired water status. Conduct additional monitoring in the near future during the spring.
