Phosphorus and algae were evaluated every two years from 2016 to 2024; phosphorus is slightly elevated, but algae and plant communities are healthy. Aquatic plant communities were evaluated in several years (2016, 2017, and 2018) and were in good condition. This lake is on the Waters Attaining Standards List.

Impaired Water Notes
Delist in 2010 Hg FCA based on 2005 Walleye data (12 samples). This waterbody has data after the methodology changed for fish consumption advice. This waterbody has enough fish tissue samples to remove these waters from the 303(d) list as a FCA, although they will still all be covered under the state's general advisory for fish consumption. The post-2000 data confirms that these sites do not need advice more stringent that the statewide general advice.
