LAKE DENOON ADVANCEMENT ASSOCIATION: Lake Denoon USGS Water Quality Monitoring

Purpose

Water quality monitoring by the U. S. Geological Survey 5 times a year for six years, 1991 to 1996. Purpose is to monitor the impacts of development around the lake and ascertain the effectiveness of newly placed siltration ponds. Lake associationmembers will take weekly lake-stage readings and report these to U.S.G.S. personnel. An annual progress report will be submitted after each year of monitoring. Project includes preparation of a final report and a presentation to the public where copiesof the report will be available. Information will also be dispursed through press releases, report mailings, and posting of the results in the Muskego City Hall and the Public library. Data reporting format is to be worked out in consultation with BobWakeman, DNR district contact. Project results will be reposited at the City of Muskego, Wisconsin.
