SPREAD EAGLE CHAIN O'LAKES ASSOCIATION: Middle Lake Management Plan

Purpose

The Spread Eagle Chain O'Lakes Association proposes to develop a protection and management plan that takes into account findings based on studies of the lake's physical, chemical and biological conditions. Studies will include water quality, aquatic plants, watershed, land usage impact, use and maintenance of Bass Island, and fish management. They will also provide self-help assistance through education in water safety and water quality monitoring. The plan will be mutually beneficial to man and nature, designed to protect environmentally sensitive areas and promote water safety. The project will expand involvement in water safety. A survey will be conducted to identify perceived needs and establish a focus for future efforts.
