The Town of Delton will develop a management strategy to reduce sediment inflow to Mirror Lake. They will attempt to protect and enhance the water quality and aquatic ecology, along with increasing the life expectancy of any future dredging of the lake. Specific management objectives will be set for reducing sediment inflow to the lake through close coordination and partnering with local land and natural resource managers. Best Management Practices (BMPs) will be identified and preliminary engineering completed on the most appropriate BMPs that meet the project's principal goals. A full description of the project scope and deliverables is available in the grant application, which is part of this agreement. The DNR will be provided with both a paper copy and an electronic copy of the final report. Information will be disseminated to the public as described in the grant application.
