THREE LAKES WATERFRONT ASSOCIATION: Spring Lake Macrophyte Survey, Watershed Data Collection

Purpose

A mid-summer 'present conditions survey' to include: macrophyte survey mapping of species distribution and density; development, lake use, and watershed observations; DO and temperature profile, pH and conductivity;composite water sample analyzed for parameters as described in application; 'symptoms' opinion of trophic status; and Secchi disc reading.Continued annual spring and fall turnover samples for 3 years, analyzed for same parameters as above, plus on additional mid-summer sampling.Project results to be distributed through newsletter, fact sheet, local newspaper article, and entire report and summary report mailings.The final report will be reposited at the Three Lakes Library and the Three Lakes Waterfront Assoc.
