CITY OF STEVENS POINT: McDill Pond Sediment Control Strategies Planning

Purpose

The City of Stevens Point proposes to complete the last phase of a comprehensive lake management plan for McDill Pond. Project activities include 1) model sediment loading to lake and evaluate sediment basin, 2) determine pollutant loading from stormwater sources, 3) bring study results and recommendations to the public, and 4) begin writing comprehensive plan for lake. A final report will be prepared detailing the project results. A paper copy and an electronic copy of the report will be provided to the Department of Natural Resources. Information on the project results will be disseminated to the public by newsletter mailing, fact sheet distribution, public meeting, and local newspaper article. end.
