TOWN OF ROME: Camelot Lake - Tri Lakes Sanitary Survey

Purpose

The Town of Rome proposes to complete a sanitary survey on Lake Camelot in cooperation with the Tri-Lakes Management District and Adams County. The project activities include: 1) Compile data on existing septic systems, 2) assess septic systems impact on Camelot Lake's water quality, 3) assess alternatives, 4) work with all governmental units to develop management strategies including new possible town sanitary district. The Department of Natural Resources will be provided with both a paper copy and an electronic copy of the final report. The project results will be dissemeinated to the public by newsletter and, public meeting(s), local radio/TV promotions and local newspaper articles. A final comprehensive management plan will be completed and available to the public for review.
