Lakes Planning Report

The City of Peshtigo proposes to develop a plan to ID nutrient loadings from land use in the drainage area of Trout Creek Pond. Delineation of land use in the watershed will also be conducted. Tributary monitoring, in-lake sampling, aquatic plant surveys will also be conducted. Extensive public involvement including input by schools in the area will be a part of the project. News releases, public meetings and other outreach programs will be incorporated into the project. Funding from a variety of sources will also be a part of the effort. A steering committee made up of local representatives, officials and the public will guide the project. The DNR will be provided two paper copies and an electronic copy of the report.
