Septic system evaluation study

The Pickerel/Crane Lake Protection and Rehabilitation District proposes to continue their septic systems evaluation study. Project activities include the inspection of about 70 septic systems in the lake district for signs of failure. The results will be reported to the county zoning administrator for follow-up compliance. A final report will be prepared including the inspection results and a list of failed systems and their locations. The Department of Natural Resources will be provided with both a paper copy and an electronic copy of the final report. The project results will be disseminated to the public by news letter(s), individual report mailings and public meetings(s).
