CHUTE LAKE P & R DISTRICT: Chute Pond Lake Management Planning

Purpose

The Chute Lake Protection and Rehabilitation District proposes to study Chute Lake to determine the source of water quality problems on the lake. Project activities include 1) water quality and sediment core sampling, 2) a lake property owner questionnaire survey, 3) a review of past studies/reports, 4) a definition of existing water quality problems, 5) development of several alternatives to address defined problems, and 6) a final report. The Department of Natural Resources will be provided with a paper copy and an electronic copy of the final report. Information about the project results will be disseminated to the public by public meeting.
