TOWN OF DELAVAN: Lake Delavan Nonpoint Pollut Study and Alum Treatmt Analysis

Purpose

The Town of Delavan proposes to analyze the role of nonpoint source pollution in the external loading of nutrients of Delavan Lake. Project activities include a watershed inventory review and update, water quality impact assessment/modeling, and identification of alternative management actions. The 1992 alum treatment of the lake to control internal nutrient loads will also be analyzed with regard to future applications.
