THUNDER LAKE P & R DISTRICT: Thunder Lake Water Resource Restoration Appraisal, Phase 2

Purpose

Thunder Lake P & R District proposes implement Phase 1 recommendations by monitoring water levels on Thunder Lake and Rice Lakes, and water levels and flows in ditches and streams in the wildlife area adjacent to Thunder Lake where water flows to Rice and Townline Lakes. This information will be used to develop plans for restoring historic water levels in the wildlife area, and for restoring historic water flows from a spring pond system on the south end of Thunder Lake. The DNR will be provided with both a paper copy and an electronic copy of the final report. Information will be sent to the public as described in the grant application.
