LAKE RIPLEY MANAGEMENT DISTRICT: Rock & Ripley Pier Shading Study

Purpose

The Lake Ripley Management District will use this grant to collect data to attempt to document and quantify the effects of pier shading on the plants, fish and macroinvertebrates of Rock and Ripley Lakes. The results will advance the scientific understanding of pier impacts on lake ecology, and be used locally in a review of pier ordinances. A full description of project deliverables is included in the District's final grant application, which is part of this agreement.
