Lakes Planning Report

The Plum Lake Riparian Homeowners Association proposes to update and expand their current lake management plan. Activities will include lake water quality sampling; a macrophyte survey; a shoreline inventory of critical habitat areas; a residents' questionnaire regarding lake use, protection activities and septic system maintenance; a watershed analysis and lake phosphorus model; and a revised Comprehensive Management Plan with management recommendations based on results of the above activities. The Department of Natural Resources will be provided with both a paper copy and an electronic copy of the final report. The project results will be disseminated to the public by newsletter(s), public meeting(s), and local newspaper articles.
