CITY OF WHITEWATER: Cravath & Tripp Lakes Ordinance Development

Purpose

To create an erosion and stormwater control ordinance that will reduce the flooding and the amount of sediment and pollutants reaching Cravath & Tripp lakes. This ordinance will allow the City to establish administrative authority to erosion control & stormwater runoff from construction sites. A comprehensive map will be made to show the major storm sewer outfalls, the delineated sub-basins draining, and the land use of the watershed pertaining to the Lakes. The DNR will be provided with both a paper copy and an electronic copy of the final report. Information will be disseminated to the public as described in the grant application.
