WHITE LAKE PRESERVATION ASSOCIATION: White Lake Comprehensive Management Plan

Purpose

White Lake Preservation Association in cooperation with the White Lake Aeration Association proposes to conduct lake studies that lead to the development of a comprehensive lake management plan for White Lake. The study will include an aquatic plant survey, identify physical and chemical characteristics of the lake, delineate the lakes watershed, and conduct a habitat and fisheries assessment. The results of the study will be used to identify and prioritize management needs. These results will be presented in a management plan along with discussions of applicable management techniques. The plan will provide recommendations and design strategies for lake improvement. The Department of Natural Resources will be provided with both a paper copy and electronic copy of the plan.
