Purpose

Lake Julia Stewardship Project: This project will: 1. Delineate the watershed of Lake Julia. 2. Set-up the basis for future phases including a GIS project database. 3. Identify and map the location of wetlands in the watershed. Assess the quality of these wetlands and assess the risk of degradation. Provide management recommendations for the wetlands. 4. This project will develop a partnership between the Lake Association and Nicolet College. 5. Deliverables include a map of the wetlands, a GIS project database, a written report of findings, and a review of educational value and opportunities of the project. The grantee will provide the Department of Natural Resources with two (2) copies of all final reports and maps along with an electronic version of the final report and map.
