Purpose

The Black Oak Lake Association is sponsoring the first phase in a long term project that will create a comprehensive plan through a partnership with Conserve School and Black Oak Lake Association. There are three main products that will come out of this grant, a comprehensive lake management plan in an initial version, a GIS project that will be built upon in future years and an education program for students at Conserve School and lake residents. The detailed items that will be completed are listed on pages 5-8 of the approved proposal dated July 29, 2003. The Department will receive both paper and electronic copies off all reports, GIS data, lake data and other materials produced as part of this project.
