The Anvil Lake Association is sponsoring this project to complete a water quality assessment for Anvil Lake. The project will focus on self-help data that has been collected and a sediment core analysis for pre and post development state of the lake water quality. The final report for this project will include: information on the history of Anvil Lake & Anvil Lake watershed, sediment core findings, water quality data analysis, eco-region model comparison, and recommendations for implementation of future lake management efforts. Deliverables include: a final technical report of findings of water quality analysis, report on findings of the sediment core analysis, informational newsletter, and a presentation of findings/recommendations to association members at the 2004 annual meeting. A final project report will be provided to the Department in electronic (pdf) and hard copy format.
