The Big Bearskin Lake Association will sponsor this project which will look in more detail at the use of barely straw on the lake to treat excessive algae blooms and the existing population of rusty crayfish. The project will be a data collection project with information collected on water quality conditions, algae blooms and rusty crayfish. All of this information will be analyzed using a consultant and with the assistance of DNR.
