The City of Eau Claire proposes to work with the Eau Claire School District to collect water quality data on Half Moon Lake. Project activities also include educational activities that will increase both the school district's and community's awareness about the lake and the need for lake management planning. The Department of Natural Resources will be provided with a paper copy and an electronic copy of a final report detailing the results of the project activities. Information about the project results will be disseminated to the public by public meeting, local newspaper article, and a presentation at the Wisconsin Lakes Conference.
