TOWN OF DELAVAN: Delavan Lake Watershed Nonpoint Pollution Source Assessment

Purpose

Prepare a description of existing conditions in the Delavan Lake watershed. Quantify the extent of existing and potential future point and nonpoint sources of pollution. Assess the degree and intensity of recreational uses of Delavan Lake. Assess theimpacts of sedimens and plants on the lake ecosystem and lake use. Formulate appropriate management actions, information strategies, ordinances, and other potential responses to identified problems. The grantee will disseminate information to the publicby public meetings, local newspaper articles, and have copies available from the Town offices. Project results will be reposited at the Town of Delavan, Walworth County, DNR, SEWRPC, Delavan Public Library.
