The town of Delavan proposes to seek information relating to existing conditions with respect to phosphorous release into inlet waters and identify the factors that are most likely to affect such releases. In addition, the field work will provide datafrom the natural system that may be used for verification of laboratory findings. Project activities include: 1) construct a base site and monitor water quality biweekly for 24 weeks 2) purchase and temporarily install 4 limno corrals 3) collectdissolved oxygen, pH and temperature data from each limno corral and the base site 4) collect and analyze water quality samples within each limno corral 5) report will be provided to the Department, Town of Delavan and the Delacan Lakes SanitaryDistrict within two months of the completed work.
