UPPER NEMAHBIN LAKE MANAGEMENT DISTRICT: Assessment of WQ in Bark River-Upper Nemahbin

Purpose

The UNLMD wishes to continue funding on the currently established USGS monitoring station. The station is located on the Bark River between Nagawicka Lake and Upper Nemahbin Lake. The grant will pay for one year of operating the gauging station, one year of phosphorus monitoring and one year of TSI monitoring. A WILMS model will be developed by USGS based on the results of the monitoring. The project deliverable will be a final report (Fact Sheet), detailing the monitoring, water and phosphorus budgets and results of the WILMS modeling. The TSI data will be published in the annual USGS publication, "Water Quality and Lake Stage Data for Wisconsin Lakes." Grantee provide final report to DNR Lake Coordinator. DNR to receive both paper and electronic .pdf copies of the final report along with, or prior to submission of grantee's final payment request.
