Purpose

The Cedar Lake Protection and Rehabilitation District, St. Croix County. proposes to study the cause of Cedar Lake's carp problem and develop effective carp removal strategies. The project activities will include: 1) development of an updated Cedar Lake map, and 2) trial and error commercial fishing including updated carp population estimate. The Department of Natural Resources will be provided with both a paper copy and an electronic copy of the final report. The project results will be disseminated to the public by distribution of the new lake map throughout the community.
