CITY OF JANESVILLE: Lion's Lake/Trout Pond Hydrological & Nutrient Study - Ph.1

Purpose

The City of Janesville proposes to identify and study the sources of nutrients to Lion's Lake and Trout Pond. Phase 1 project activities include 1) review existing data, 2) describe the physical characteristics of the basin and watershed, 3)water quality monitoring, and 4) prepare interim report. The Department of Natural Resources will be provided with a paper copy and an electronic copy of the final report. Information about the project results will be disseminated to the public by fact sheet, public meeting, summary report mailing and local newspaper article.
