The Minocqua Area Lakes Improvement Association Inc., will conduct a lake planning project which will include the evaluation of the potential for Eurasian water milfoil to grow to nuisance levels in Lake Minocqua and will evaluate the level of recreational use on the lake. The evaluation of potential for Eurasian water milfoil growth will include the collection of lake sediment samples, analysis, and the production of a lake map indicating the areas of potential nuisance growth. Recreational use will be evaluated through the use of trained volunteers conducting boat counts and other methods.
