The Town of Schleswig Sanitary District #2 proposes to develop an aquatic plant management plan for Wilke Lake. The project will include two macrophyte surveys, water quality sampling, and development of an aquatic plant management plan. The plan will evaluate alternative management tools and will contain recommendations for long-term management of exotic and nuisance species, protection of native species, and ways to maximize recreation without negatively impacting the aquatic plant community or the fish population.
