TWIN LAKES PRESERVATION ASSOCIATION: North & Mid. Twin Lakes (Washburn Co.) - Phase 1 WQ Study

Purpose

North & Middle Twin Lakes (Washburn Co.) - Phase I Water Quality Study Project The Twin Lakes Preservation Association, Inc. will conduct a water quality data collection study of North & Middle Twin Lakes and their watershed in Washburn County. Activities involved in this study include collection of; in-lake water quality data, lake plankton data, lake macrophyte identification and distribution data, precipitation data, lake level data, and watershed land use information. Specific deliverables for this project include a copy of the final Phase I study project report including survey results. The Department of Natural Resources will be provided with both a paper copy and an electronic copy of the final report. The project results will be disseminated to the public by newsletter(s), public meeting(s), and local newspaper articles.
