Friends of Milwaukee's Rivers is applying for a river management grant in the amount of $10,000 to hire their Riverkeeper full time so they can broaden the Riverkeeper's scope of duties, both in terms of types of activities and coverage of the watershed. The total project budget is $64,923 Project funding will increase the Riverkeeper to full-time focus on water quality issues, and then allow her to work with other staff and volunteers on project components.
