The Lake Wapogasset/Bear Trap Improvement Association, Inc. will conduct a Water Quality & Shoreland Protection Utilizing Aerial Imagery Analysis project on the shoreline and immediate watershed of Wapogasset Lake in Polk County. This project will use various types of aerial photography to locate areas of leaching, erosion, and surface runoff and pinpoint sources of possible pollution in the shoreline and watershed area. Activities other then the photography will include follow-up contacts on possible problem areas and conducting educational activities to encourage the implementation of management practices to alleviate problems.
