Lakes Planning Report

The Spirit Reservoir Association, in cooperation with the University of Wisc., Stevens Point, will sponsor a two phase project to create a report including information on water quality, physical characteristics of the Spirit Reservoir, a water and nutrient budget, data interpretation and recommendations. This project includes Phase One, which will include development of internal nutrient loading estimates and a preliminary nutrient budget. Project deliverables include: * data collected and analyzed form sampling in fall 2004, Winter and fall 2005; * data collected and analyzed from sediment samples for internal loading estimates; * a nutrient and water budget for the reservoir; * a final report - written and electronic, disseminated to DNR, Lincoln County, Wisconsin Valley Improvement Company and libraries.
