Purpose

Deer Lake Conservancy is sponsoring a project in the Deer Lake watershed to provide/improve community education opportunities. The Deer Lake Conservation Project Tour Guide will be updated to include the Flagstad Farm property, and interpretive signs will be installed at Flagstad Farm and the Rock Creek prairie demonstration gardens. Specifically the deliverables associated with this project include: 1. Updated conservation sites and practices brochure. 2. Set of interpretive plant labels and digital images or photographs of signage. Data, records, and reports, including GIS-based maps and digital images, must be submitted to the Department in a format specified by the regional Lake Coordinator.
